Redcurrants

These are the redcurrants picked from my garden last Saturday.

There were over 2kg…………….

Decided on Redcurrant Gin this year instead of jelly…………..

First crushed the redcurrants and castor sugar (lovely colour)

Then used funnel for bottle…………………..

Topped up with Gin……………………..

Now I have to shake the bottles every day for a month and then when I remember…………

It should be ready in 3 to 4 months.  Just in time for Christmas………………..YUM!  Oh and a special thanks to Fran and David for the gin!! 🙂
