Oh dear it has been over a month since my last post. Where has the time gone…. Well, I have been lucky enough to have been on two holidays. One with my lovely husband to Zakynthos for a week and the second with my equally as lovely daughter to Majorca for four nights, which included her 23rd birthday.
Fun in Majorca!
I have also taken part in the Roffey Park Exhibition in Horsham and the Chalk Gallery’s 10th Anniversary Celebration Exhibition at the Towner Gallery in Eastbourne.
My stand at Roffey.
The Roffey Park weekend was a great success with lots of visitors. Thank you to everyone who came to visit and also to those who attended my workshop on the Sunday – there were lots of you which was great.
The Towner exhibtion was also great and in addition to that I hadn’t really appreciated how lovely Eastbourne Seafront was. After attending the Opening Party we drove back via the Birling Gap and Seaford, Seaford was much larger than I realised and the Birling Gap (part of the Seven Sisters chalk cliffs) was absolutely beautiful. I was also very happy to see that both the Towner Gallery Shop and the National Trust Shop at the Birling Gap stock a nice little selection of my greetings cards. Fingers crossed that people buy them.

‘Cuffs’ update. The BBC has recently started advertising the fact that the series is about to begin on the 28th October, Yay. I was a little worried as no mention of it had been made in September which was when I was told it was originally going to be aired. Let’s hope that my art is still going appear in it!! Don’t forget to keep a look out.

I am now busy preparing for my next exhibition which is going to be the Windsor Contemporary Art Fair held at Windsor Racecourse. This is over the weekend of 14th and 15th November.

Millennium Bridge and Tower Bridge are two new linocuts which will be on display at the Windsor Art Fair.
Some more exciting news is that I have recently sold two more textile designs in Sweden.
I am also preparing for the Brighton Artists Christmas Open Houses when I will have work at the Claremont Hotel again 🙂
