Looking forward to the last weekend of the Adur Art Trail.
The image shown is that of my most recent work, Shoreham Cement Works. It is one of a limited edition of 50, edition number 1 having been sold last week. 🙂 This linocut was inspired by the fact that I have recently been reading about plans to pull down these cement works which are part of the landscape and such a familiar sight (and site!). The disused cement works were also used in the locally set series of Roy Grace murder mystery novels written by international author Peter James who is from Brighton.
I’ll be carving some lino at the new exhibition space in the Shoreham Centre, Pond Road, which is venue number 18 on the trail map. Why not come along and have a lovely walk around picturesque Shoreham-by-Sea where you will have the opportunity to meet lots of Artists and buy affordable original artwork. All the venues are free and many of them serving declicious freshments. Trail Maps are available at the venues or here: http://www.adurarttrail.co.uk/art-trail
All of my work is available to buy with or without a frame.
